"Through the Tunnel " Comparison

In this story I think it's convincing because Jerry keeps going instead of going back to the diving rock. The first  time he tried to go in to the hole he couldn't get through because of  he couldn't controll his breathing. His lungs would start burning and his nose starts bleeding and he couldn't see so he had to get googles to see under water. Then two days before he had to leave he put his pratice to work then he fought his way through the hole and then finally he got through breathing heavy like crazy  and he never told anybody about him holding his breath underwater for two to three minutes.
