(January 8, 2010: Calexico, CA 92231) San Pasqual Academy Dragons (Escondido, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA), 57-47 in a non-league bout.



With the victory, San Pasqual Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Calvin Christian (Escondido, CA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 12. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Calvin Christian lost 59-42 in their recent non-league bout against Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA)



Next up, the Scots play the Holtville Vikings (Holtville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 12. Vincent Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.

San Pasqual Academy routs Calvary Christian



(February 10, 2010: Vista, CA 92084) In Wednesday's league outing, the San Pasqual Academy Dragons (Escondido, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Calvary Christian Lions (Vista, CA), by a margin of 56-28.



The Dragons (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA). The Lions go into the Citrus - West outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, San Diego Jewish Academy smashed Lutheran (Chula Vista, CA), 47-34, in a non-league outing.



The Lions now own a 3-16 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Life Academy for a Citrus - West outing on Tuesday, February 16. Calvary Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 71-63 league win over Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-9.

In their next game, the Dragons face the San Diego Jewish Academy Lions (San Diego, CA) in a Citrus - West game, on Thursday, January 28. San Pasqual Academy will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 49-48 league loss to Escondido Adventist Academy (Escondido, CA).

With the defeat, Julian moves to 2-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Thursday, January 28. The Crusaders go into the outing with a record of 2-6.
